Maltese Race Car Driver To Compete In The Midland Hillclimb Championship

Local race car name Zach Zammit will be racing in the 44th edition of the renowned Midland Hillclimb Championship this weekend in Cheltenham, England. 

Zammit has made it to the fifth round of the championship, which will be held at Prescott Speed Hill Climb, home to the Bugatti Owners Club. His fastest time at Prescott is 37.29. 

A total of around 120 cars will be taking part in the Hill Climb, six of which in Zach’s K2 class, which ranges from 1600cc to 2000cc. 

The car Zach will be using is a 2019 Empire Wraith, with a Suzuki 1300cc turbocharged engine running on methanol. Built by Empire Racing Cars, the car weighs 350kg, and has up to 375 BHP.
