Neil Agius Named BON CHARGE Global Ambassador Ahead Of Epic ‘Gozo 7’ Swim

Maltese Olympian and two-time world-record holder Neil Agius has just been announced as the global brand ambassador for BON CHARGE, an international leader in science-backed wellness technology.
The partnership comes ahead of Agius’ upcoming ‘Gozo 7’ swim challenge, a world-first attempt to swim seven laps around Gozo in seven consecutive days between 31st August and 6th September.
Known for holding the world record for the longest unassisted ocean swim (142.3km in 60 hours), Agius will now push himself even further by swimming roughly 42km a day, the equivalent of a marathon, for 15 hours in open water.

Agius will rely on BON CHARGE’s recovery products throughout the challenge, as he and his team of scientists closely track how his body and mind respond to the extreme stress of the feat.
“The Gozo 7 will be the hardest test of my life,” Neil said. “I’m incredibly excited to partner with BON CHARGE, whose science-backed approach to recovery aligns perfectly with how I train and live. The swim will push me to my absolute limits, and having BON CHARGE in my recovery toolkit gives me confidence that I can show up stronger each day.”
The campaign also highlights Agius’ Ocean Mindset, a philosophy of resilience, breathwork, and community that he shares with people as tools for thriving in daily life.
BON CHARGE CEO Andy Mant said the company was honoured to partner with Agius, calling him “a force who exemplifies what we are capable of achieving if we believe boldly.”
With the Gozo 7 swim covering 294km and more than 300,000 strokes, Neil Agius continues to prove why he’s one of Malta’s most inspiring athletes, pushing the limits of endurance while sharing a message of wellness, strength, and resilience.
