If you were hoping to learn something new today then this new football/table-tennis hybrid has got you covered. Teqball is a new concept in the sporting world that uses a curved table instead of an entire football pitch, which means players need some fancy footwork to score ‘goals’.

If you’re not entirely sure how that works, check out Malta’s Teqball team beating Luxembourg in the Teqball World Cup.

That’s right, the sport has its own world cup, and Malta is already in there. Only 19 countries have taken part in this new sporting event, 13 of them from Europe. But Malta isn’t just participating, we’re kicking ass.

A post on Facebook proudly announced we had won three out of their three games, only losing one set the whole time.

If you’re looking to get into Teqball, you can head over to their site and find out more about the rules, or you can contact the Maltese team, who seem to be on the way to some awesome international successes, on Facebook.
