Valletta FC Appoints New President After Worst Finish In Club’s History
Former PN MP Claudio Grech was appointed as Valletta FC’s new president after his group, 1943, was greenlit to take over the club during the Valletta FC AGM on Thursday night.
Grech succeeds Alexander Fenech, who served as president for the past three years.
In his manifesto, Grech outlined that the 1943 group will provide an undisclosed amount of funds to help Valletta FC return to the Maltese topflight. The club was relegated for the first time in its 120-year history.
Do you think Valletta FC will make it back to Malta’s highest division?
