The run took 12 hours with a distance of 100 kilometres starting from Dingli cliffs at 4am going across Mġarr, Għajn Tuffieħa, Xemxija, Ta’ Xbiex, Valletta, Senglea, Marsascala, Marsaxlokk and finishing at the Caritas’ San Blas centre in Żebbuġ.

Throughout the run, Miguel had several checkpoints where he would stop to eat or drink.

“100 kilometres starts with the first step,” Miguel said as his first comment crossing the finish line.

Miguel was overcome with emotion from the support he received from everyone who showed up at the finish line as they cheered him on for finishing the incredible feat.

Well Done Miguel!
