Giacomo Gatt, a young Maltese boy whose attempt at the traditional gostra went viral last year, has attempted the challenge again this year.
Now seven years old, Giacomo gave it his best shot in Xlendi and came close to completing the challenge but couldn’t make it all the way.
The video was filmed by his father when the pole wasn’t yet greased.
Last year, Giacomo’s challenge went viral worldwide, garnering over 24 million views.
