Malta midfielder Teddy Teuma showed off some world-class talent yesterday, scoring two incredible goals and serving up a great assist to push his new Ligue 1 club Reims to a 3-1 victory over Montpellier.
With a perfectly placed corner that found Yunis Abdelhamid’s header in the eighth minute and two powerful shots in the 41st and 56th minutes, Teuma propelled Reims to an away victory against a Montpellier that could’ve gone level with Monaco and Marseille at the top of the Ligue 1 at this early stage.

It’s been a great start for Teuma in the top French league after his €5 million move from Belgium’s Union St Gilloise, with this being just his third match in Ligue 1. And his skills are definitely being noticed, with the official Ligue 1 Twitter page welcoming him and livescore application Sofascore naming him in the Ligue 1’s Team of the Week with a glorious top score of 9.4.
