World Cup Champion ‘Ciccio’ Graziani To Host Football Training Camp In Malta
Football World Cup Champion Francesco “Ciccio” Graziani is heading to Malta to offer his expertise for a training camp for young football enthusiasts between 30th June and 4th July.
“We’re thrilled to bring the Ciccio Graziani Academy to Malta,” said Graziani. This presents an incredible opportunity for young players to refine their skills while gaining valuable lessons in teamwork, perseverance, and leadership. I’m eager to connect and work with the aspiring footballers in Malta and share my knowledge and experiences to help them grow.”
Graziani is a celebrated retired footballer who enjoyed honorary titles such as “top goalscorer” in 1977 for Serie A. He is a World Cup Champion and is well-known for his outstanding career and his position as a well-liked sports pundit.
The camp will take place at the Melita Football Club in Pembroke between 9.00am and 12.00pm on each of the aforementioned days. The training is tailored for children born between 2010 and 2016, and includes technical football skills and personal growth training in a team-oriented environment.
The camp is being organised in collaboration with Rising Star Scouting MT and will include a team of expert coaches, including the renowned Torino FC goalkeeper, Renato Copparoni, who will be delivering specialised training for goalkeepers.
It goes without saying that all participants will learnt lots of important skills for the football pitch but they will also have an interactive Q&A with Graziani to gain invaluable insights from his legendary career.
If this wasn’t enough to get our young footballers to participate, talent identification processes will be taking place, with the possibility of being selected for trials with major Italian football clubs, including but not limited to AS Roma, Torino FC, and AC Fiorentina.
Each participant will receive a branded training kit, a certificate of participation, and a personalised, autographed photo with Graziani.
This won’t be the only time Graziani will be coming to Malta, in fact, he plans on hosting these football camps annually, typically during the off-season when Serie A is not in action.
