Zach Zammit Comes 1st In Class And 8th Overall In 10th Round Of British Hillclimb Championship
Zach Zammit competed in last weekend’s 10th round of the British Hillclimb Championship after a weekend of highs and lows.
The event took place at Shelsley Walsh in Worcestershire, England, the oldest motorsport venue that is still currently in use.
After problems with the car on both practice runs on Saturday, and the first timed run on Sunday, during the second timed run, Zach left the start line and immediately realised they had managed to fix the car and ended up beating his previous personal best time of 24.22s and got a new time of 23.93s.
Zach scored the fastest time of his class and qualified for the Run off, in which he placed eighth overall.
