St Paul’s Bay Pizzeria Responds Brilliantly To Harsh RUBS Malta Critic
The Facebook group RUBS Malta (Are You Being Served?) is a great source for Malta’s consumers, providing helpful tip-offs on where to eat, where to avoid, and occasionally reporting some highly entertaining only-in-Malta oddities. And with over 80,000 members, a bad critique can temporarily make or break a restaurant’s reputation.
But one pizzeria took a very bad review in its stride, using it as a hook to advertise the place.
Pash, in St Paul’s Bay, set up a sign outside its premises with the the words: “Come try the worst pizza one guy on Are You Being Served ever had in his life.”
If that doesn’t spell self-confidence and make you just a little bit curious to step inside and see what the fuss was all about, what will?
In fact, RUBS members seem to be unanimously in agreement that Pash has masterfully flipped one bitter patron’s experience from a negative to positive.
