Knights riding rainbows, an open road, omens scarring doors, and a starship.

That is how I’m going to start describing Malta to any new foreigner I meet, because I’ve clearly been missing the mark by just calling it “an island underneath Italy”.

Their new single ‘Knights of Malta’ is probably not about Malta at all, but with some over-interpretation I’m sure you can hear notes of subtle political shade, socio-religious references and tales of brave soldiers heading into the Great Siege.

So, basically Malta.

I don’t know if my interpretation is the correct one, but I’m sticking with it. And I really need a video that features Malta’s prominent personalities riding rainbows. ASAP.

What do you think of the song?
