Meta Saint: Fr Rob Galea Launches New Game In Roblox All About ‘The Greatest Story Ever Told’
There’s a new game on Roblox… and it’s all about the Bible.
Maltese priest Fr Rob Galea – who has been making waves in Australia with his novel and very youthful way of preaching the Gospel – took to social media yesterday to announce MetaSaint, “a beacon of hope and an innovative venture into the Metaverse”.
“At Icon Ministry, we’re dedicated to bridging gaps and reaching hearts, especially during those formative years,” a statement published earlier this week read. “Upon reflecting on our mission, we realised a pivotal opportunity: the 12-15 age demographic often journeys through their digital and daily lives with few encounters that spark a connection with Jesus. This realisation struck a chord with us and ignited our passion project, MetaSaint, more than just a game.”

Through this interactive endeavour, though, users are invited to “embark on an obstacle and treasure hunt journey through the greatest story that’s ever been told!”
Created through a collaboration with British digital agency Dubit and promising to be “the first church ministry on the metaverse”, MetaSaint is as innovative as church outreaches go, and launched yesterday, on the occasion of Holy Thursday.
