The Game Every Maltese Kid In The 90s Adored Is Officially Back On The Market
Everyone’s favourite virtual egg is back from the grave, and we didn’t know how badly we missed these buggers until just now.
So grab your phone and get ready to text your entire contact list: Tamagotchi eggs (arguably one of the most iconic staples of the 1990s) are once again being sold by Japanese company Bandai.
A few years ago the company had tried releasing new, more realistic pets, but that didn’t go down too well. Now, its back to the six original choices… and at around €18 a pop you cannot say no to that level of nostalgia.
The game will retain its retro feel with the los-res graphics and three awkward, yellow or blue buttons we know all too well. The gaming giant has sold over 80 million Tamagotchis since 1996.
