Vodafone customers are experiencing major difficulties with their mobile connections due to “technical difficulties”.

In a Facebook post, the telephone company said: “We are currently experiencing technical difficulties with our mobile service, such as calls, SMS and Mobile internet. While any inconvenience is deeply regretted, our teams are working hard to fix these temporary difficulties. We will update this post as soon as the service is fully restored.”

Services were restored at 7.40pm.
