Outpouring of gratitude towards Malta’s healthcare workers continued all throughout this week, with the latest coming in the form of a 30-minute light show courtesy of one of the island’s largest audio-visual companies.
On Thursday night, the sky above Birkirkara was lit up as Studioseven put on a show directed straight towards the heavens.
Setting up spotlights, white and red tubes and a number of lighting fixtures to spell out THANK YOU, and pointing them all upwards, the spectacular show was perfectly captured on a drone footage later shared by the company.
The awesome act was actually part of #LightTheSky, an initiative that’s currently going down all over the world.
“Audio-visual companies around the world, including Studioseven in Malta, are currently suffering from a significant business loss due to the pandemic,” the studio explained. “But despite that, we still wanted to give thanks and hope to all the nations affected.”
The lights could be seen from the Birkirkara Bypass to the San Ġwann Industrial Estate and beyond, with Mater Dei hospital just down the road.
