Brillanti Musicals Heads Into Semifinal Tonight With A Duets Challenge
Brillanti Musicals is heading into the semifinals tonight, with 14 performing artists all vying to win this year’s edition of the competition.
There is a total of €30,000 up for grabs, which the lucky winners can use to invest in their talent and advance further in their careers in musical theatre.
Chair Judge Charles Brunton, a renowned name in the theatre world, admitted that “now the hard part truly begins”.
In the coming weeks, the 14 participants will face a series of tough challenges that will send some of them packing, slowly narrowing them down to the finalists.
In tonight’s semifinal – Brillanti goes Classic Couples – the semifinalists have to choose another participant to perform a duet with.
Tonight’s episode will also feature a super special guest Judge – Pippa Duffy – a popular name in show business. In fact, she was the original Cassandra in the musical Only Fools and Horses.
This is the third edition of Brillanti, with the first focussing on all things music, and the second on dance. This time around, Brillanti is delving into the world of musical theatre.
