HBO has officially opened the casting call for the highly anticipated Harry Potter TV series remake, set to air in 2026.

Yes, this means they’re on the lookout for fresh faces to step into the iconic roles of Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Granger.

Children aged nine to eleven from the UK and Ireland are invited to audition by submitting self-taped videos, with the deadline set for 31st October.

Filming is set to kick off in the UK in 2025, with the show expected to hit the TV screens by 2026.

HBO Max confirmed the Harry Potter TV adaptation last year, promising a “faithful adaptation” of J.K. Rowling’s beloved book series, with the author herself serving as an executive producer.

The series, set to span an entire decade, will dedicate each season to one of the seven iconic books, giving fans the chance to experience an even deeper dive into the magical world of Hogwarts.

Aspiring actors must submit two videos: one reading a short story or poem and another discussing a person close to them.

With J.K. Rowling herself onboard as executive producer, the project is shaping up to be a magical reimagining of the classic saga.
