Cross-Party Alliance: PL And PN MPs Join Forces For New TV Show On Social Justice
Two MPs from opposite sides of the House have teamed up to present a new show focused on issues related to social justice.
PN’s Ivan Bartolo and PL’s Katya De Giovanni will both act as hosts on the new show that will air on Xejk TV three times a week, with the aid of others, including PL local council candidate Dasier D’Amato and PN activist Nicolai Bugeja.
Guests from different walks of life will be invited onto the show and viewers will be able to call in.
Bartolo told Lovin Malta that he decided to produce a new show to help push issues, such as a food wastage bill, an opt-out system of organ donation, poverty, and social housing concerns, onto the national agenda.
He said he wanted a PL MP on board to ensure the show is “truly for everyone” and praised De Giovanni as a frank politician who cares about social justice.
“We work very well together and we want to send out a message in favour of social justice,” he said.
