Nicholas’ menu was called ‘A Culinary Journey’ and for the starter he prepared ravioli filled with salmon and prawn mousse, served with prawn tartare, leek and prawn bisque.

For his main course, Nicolas prepared beef tenderloin, served with spinach, onions, white onion purée, potatoes and red wine sauce.

For dessert, the cook presented orange and Grand Marnier soufflé served with dark chocolate ice cream

“What an incredibly fantastic and emotional journey this has been. I am still stunned to have been awarded the first Masterchef Malta title. It still feels surreal!” Nicholas wrote on his Instagram page.

Nicolas also took the time to show his appreciation for everyone who supported him throughout his journey.
