It all kicked off when the eliminated Islanders made a surprise return but to vote for which couples they thought deserved to make it to the final. Their verdict? Jean and Nazan were sent packing just before the live show even began.

Then it was down to the public. Sean and Yennifer placed fourth, Alessia and Keenan took third and the tension skyrocketed as Matthew and Evey stood side by side with Michela and Cruyff… waiting for Malta’s final vote.

After weeks of romance, recouplings and iconic slow-mo walks, the crown (and a tidy €20k prize) went to this season’s new power couple Matthew and Evey. And Matthew? He couldn’t help but celebrate in true islander fashion, with a cheeky backflip straight into the villa pool.
