Executive producer of Love Island Malta, Ben Camille has addressed the hot topic of the show being the ongoing bullying seemingly directed at Racquel.

After the public reaction to last night’s episode showing the girls annoyed at Racquel for saving Clinton, which in turn sent Jenko and Ed home, Ben felt the need to speak out.

The girls have been clashing for a while on the show and people have been voicing their concerns for the 26-year-old Maltese-Australian Islander.

After Ben received numerous messages, he addressed it via Instagram stories earlier today.“The show is what it is, it’s very fast paced- emotions run high,” he stated. “I do think people make mistakes.”

“There is a fine line between one giving their opinion and bullying,” Ben further addressed. “There was a time where I personally felt the need to speak to certain contestants to make this line evident.”

He reassured viewers that Racquel is fine and emphasised that all the islanders are great people and there are no bad intentions and hate between the contestants and it’s just a case of “emotions running high.”
