‘Love Loving’ Chelsea And ‘No Nonsense’ Nate – Love Island Malta Introduces The Last Islanders
All of Love Island Malta’s contestants have now been announced – with Chelsea and Nate rounding off the romantic crew.
With the whole cast announced, we’re sure to have a whole bunch of saucy shirtless shenanigans ahead.
Chelsea is a 30-year-old English-Maltese beauty therapist who has lived in Malta since 2015.
“I’m pretty crazy, I’m kind hearted, and I love love.”
“The most attractive things about me are my eyes and my smile,” she said, “and I’ve got a bit of a big bum”.
She’s been single for around two years, and though she’s been enjoying her own company, she thinks that if producers have put together a good group of “nice looking lads with good personalities” maybe that’ll be just what she needs.
The “nice looking” aspect is always subjective, I suppose.
“My favourite type is what people would say is ħamalli” she said.
“I love tattoos, neck tattoos, hand tattoos. I go for bad boys. They’ve got the charm and the chat.”
In a refreshing twist, Chelsea believes in the importance of a good connection so much that even if she’s fallen for someone, she’ll happily step aside if they seem better suited to being with another.
“I’m not gonna stand in their way if its a better coupling.”
Nate is a 29-year-old barber, personal trainer and father, who won’t tolerate any disrespect – even from the best possible match on offer in the villa.
Nate considers himself to be the “common man” who “eats a lot, and wants horse meat at least once a month”.
Nate says it how he feels it – and isn’t attracted to bodies first, but faces.
He loves his daughter, who he describes as “a reason to live” – and without quality time with her, there’s not much point to anything.
“When I’m in a relationship, I wouldn’t say I’m romantic. You don’t need to praise a person too much, and when someone pays me too many compliments, I start smelling something fishy.”
Take note, Villa residents. Don’t be paying Nate too many compliments – he’s liable to get suspicious.
“You don’t look for love, love finds you. You end up in it.”
That sounds pretty romantic to me, Nate.
We wish them both – and all the other contestants – luck in their search for true love, starting this Sunday at 8.50pm.
