AI Guru Angelo Dalli Announced As Guest Shark For Shark Tank Malta’s Second Season

Maltese AI expert and angel investor Angelo Dalli has been confirmed as a guest shark investor for the upcoming second season of Shark Tank Malta.
As a guest shark, Dalli will join the main panel of sharks for a couple of episodes, where he will listen to the business pitches of budding entrepreneurs and decide whether or not to invest in them.
Dalli has founded nine startups over the years, was involved in four IPOs, has invested in over 40 technology, fintech and entertainment companies, and has twice been named Malta’s Top Entrepreneur of the Year.
Projects he has worked on include designing intelligence transport systems, online gambling algorithms and a robot that was taught to paint by Maltese artist Mark Mallia.
He was also part of the national taskforce that came up with Malta’s AI strategy
And with AI more topical than ever following the rollout of ChatGPT and AI art generators, Dalli will undoubtedly be looking for a couple of entrepreneurs in his field of expertise.
The second season of Shark Tank Malta is set to start in March, with episodes airing every Sunday evening on TVM. Only one member of the main panel of sharks has been confirmed so far, with Mark Bajada – who runs Bajada New Energy Ltd – returning for a second season.
