Businessman Chris Vassallo Confirmed As New Shark For Shark Tank Malta’s Second Season
Prominent businessman Chris Vassallo will join the panel of ‘shark’ investors on the upcoming second season of Shark Tank Malta.
Vassallo is a director and shareholder of the Vassallo Group, one of Malta’s most renowned family business groups which started out as a development company but which later expanded into several sectors, including elderly care, catering, joinery, solar energy, hotel management and the new Campus Hub outside University of Malta.
He is also heavily involved in autism activism as the director of Hand in Hand, a therapy centre in Rabat that uses Applied Behaviour Analysis therapy to help children on the spectrum.
Vassallo joins Mark Bajada – who runs Bajada New Energy Ltd – as the second shark on the panel, with two more sharks set to be announced in the coming days. For the second season, the fifth seat will be occupied by a ‘guest shark’, who will feature for a couple of episodes before being replaced by another investor.
AI expert and angel investor Angelo Dalli has been confirmed as the first guest shark, with more announcements set to follow.
