‘Simpatiċi’ Play With Original Cast Happening In October In Malta
Get ready for a whole lot of nostalgia – the original cast of Malta’s beloved show ‘Simpatiċi’ is now working on a new comedy play.
You aren’t Maltese if you haven’t heard of Simpatiċi!
The iconic TV show, which aired from 1999 until 2015, was a light-hearted comedy series that entertained Maltese audiences with its humorous sketches, witty dialogue, and relatable characters. The show gained a significant following in Malta.
Described as a “situation comedy with lots of comedy situations,” Simpatiċi will now be revived onto the stage.
Written by Frida Cauchi, the play will be directed by Ray Abdilla, who had played the role of Alan in the original TV show.
The performance will take place at ‘Teatru Istitut Kattoliku’, in Floriana, on 8th, 13th, 14th and 15th October.
