Wait – What If Each Malta Love Islander Was A Disney Animal?
Following Love Island Malta’s Sven’s claims that he’s like “a lion in bed”, it got me thinking what animals would the other islanders be (not necessarily in bed…).
Then I took it a step further and started to ask the real questions – like, what Disney animal they’d be.
Yes… this is an important discussion we all need to have – what character would the bubbly Nicola be??
Just to preface – this isn’t to offend any of them. I am a huge fan of all the islanders – so relax bello!
Here is a list of all the contestants as Disney animals:
1. Nicola – Scuttle, from the Little Mermaid
The self-acclaimed chatterbox fits the bird perfectly. Nicola is loud, friendly, and optimistic. She is also an expert on the pepe’ world, just like Scuttle is an expert on the human world, so you know we love her for who she is.
2. Dale – Iago, from Aladdin
”Birds of a feather, flock together”- the insanely controversial couple have both got to be birds. Plus, I somehow see a physical resemblance between Dale and Iago… but that’s probably just me.
3. Chelsea – The Duchess, Aristocats
Might get attacked for this, but ever since Sabrina left, Chelsea has sort of taken her place as villa mummy. Like the duchess, Chelsea is protective over the others, especially the girls.
4. Allen – Pascal, Tangled
Just because of the eyes, and this meme.
5. Gabrielle – Lady, Lady and the Tramp
She’s got Sven under a spell, just like Lady had the Tramp.
6. Sven – Simba, The Lion King
Sven is not just a lion in bed, but he also has the energetic and charismatic attitude of Simba. And he just can’t wait to be king, aka, be crowned Love Island winner.
7. Marie-Christine – Daisy Duck
Maybe it’s the eyelashes but Marie-Christine gives Daisy Duck vibes, though she has yet to find her Donald, because it’s clearly not Andriy.
8. Andriy – Pegasus, Hercules
The bombshell, the pretty boy – tends to stay out of the drama. Pegasus would definitely be the type of animal to say ”so Love Island” if he could talk… right?
9. Kyle – Mufasa, The Lion King
The real king of the jungle, loved by everyone and is constantly making sure everyone’s okay – the father figure of the group. Maybe not as wise as Mufasa just yet though…
10. Nate – Sven, Frozen
Nate is just there. Not coupled with anyone, he’s enjoying his staycation, not really concerned about finding love. Yet, he is still as soft-hearted and cuddly as ever.
11. Soulayma – Zazu, The Lion King
For some reason, she randomly gives me Zazu vibes. Argue about it in the comments!
12. Shanise – Cheshire Cat, Alice in Wonderland
Mysterious and ominous, we don’t really know anything about her yet.
Bonus: Sabrina – Kala, Tarzan
Although she left the show, I have to include her. Sabrina was the mother of the lot, and that is why she’s Kala. We miss you Sab!
As drama continues to brew in the villa, the rest of the population will continue to watch and analyse each and every thing that happens inside it. And we cannot wait to see more.
