If you’ve ever wondered who the face behind the already-iconic Maltese Peppa Pig voice is, you can finally stop wondering – we finally have an answer!
Director Ben Camille has taken to social media to introduce everyone to Janah Desira and Cain Saliba, who are responsible for bringing to life the Maltese versions of the beloved cartoon characters.
And while national gems like Peppi Azzopardi and Eileen Montesin, who play Nannu and Nanna Pig on the show, are definitely more recognisable faces and voices, it’s all thanks to Janah and Cain that we finally got the adorable Peppa and George in our language.

“I was very very happy, I was jumping a lot and shouting,” Janah said of the moment she found out she was going to be Peppa Pig. “Keep on watching so that the Maltese language doesn’t go away. Maltese is very important.”
“And it’s a small country…“, Cain cheekily added, laughing.
Janah and Cain will be appearing tonight on TVM’s XOW.
