Watch: Attard Family Wins €800 Prize In First Family Feud Malta Episode
Family Feud Malta kicked off this afternoon, with the Attard family winning a tidy €800.
For the first ever episode of the Maltese version of the popular TV game show, the Attards, composed of siblings Lisa, Marianne and George and family friend Chantelle, faced off against the Mifsuds, composed of cousins Jake and Lee and friends Matteo and Justin.
After seeing off the Mifsuds in the main game, the Attards got to select two members to play the ‘Fast Money’ bonus round. George and Lisa were asked the same five rapid-fire questions with their answers compared to those received in an audience survey among the general public.
Points were given based on the popularity of the answer in the survey and their goal was to reach 200 points.
For example, George responded “Thailand” when asked to mention a country in Asia, earning his team 14 points. However, Lisa chose “China”, which turned out to be the most popular answer in the survey and won her team 44 points.
It went down to the wire, with Lisa needing to score 24 points in her final question – “What is something you can fill up with water?” to win 200 points and the €800 cash prize for her family. Thankfully, her answer (‘A bottle’) won her 26 points.
