Week 4 of Joey Graziadei’s season of The Bachelor not only brought in major drama but also witnessed record-breaking viewership, with the episode filmed in Malta stealing the spotlight.

The episode, which aired on ABC on 12th February, drew in an average of 3.5 million viewers according to Live + Same Day data from Nielsen, marking a series high and reflecting a 9% increase from the previous week. With three days of delayed viewing across Hulu and other digital platforms, that number soared to an impressive 5.9 million, according to Variety.

Filmed against the stunning backdrop of Malta, the episode showcased the island’s beauty, with Joey and his potential fiancées exploring iconic locations such as Valletta and Wied iż-Żurrieq.

The surge in viewership from Week 4, from 3.5 million to 5.9 million during the episode filmed in Malta, represents the largest delayed viewing lift of the season.

Marika Caruana Smith, Cluster Director of Sales – Luxury and Entertainment at InterContinental Malta, expressed excitement about the hotel’s feature on The Bachelor, stating that “Meeting the entire team behind this amazing production, as well as the charismatic host Jesse and the bachelor himself, Joey, was an experience we will cherish for a lifetime.”

“This season of ‘The Bachelor’ sees Tennis Pro Joey Graziadei as the leading bachelor, with 32 different women vying for his attention, in hopes of winning the show and becoming his fiancée. The series, now in its 28th season, remains a beloved guilty pleasure for many viewers.
