Woman Under Tree, Relax Bello And That ‘Sushi’… Love Island Malta’s Most Iconic Moments Get Inked
The Maltese islanders got out of the villa, and straight into… a tattoo parlour?
Most of the contestants of the record-breaking show ‘Love Island Malta’ have gotten at least one tattoo to commemorate their time in the villa.
On their full-day in the real world, stories were uploaded to their Instagram accounts revealing their matching tattoos, which they got done at the Prodigy Tattoo Studio.
These matching tattoos correspond to each islander’s mic pack number, which they had to carry with them throughout the six weeks on the show.
However, some stand alone tattoos stuck out, and have everyone in either fits of laughter, or disbelief:
1. Andriy’s sushi tattoo
The tattoo is that of a loaf of bread with the word ‘sushi’ written under it. This hilariously immortalises the iconic moment when Andriy mistook sandwiches for sushi, whilst on a date with another islander, Chelsea.
“Don’t ask,” season one’s first bombshell expressed on his Instagram, as he revealed the tattoo.

2. Dale’s Relax Bello tattoo
“Relax bello?”
Dale‘s iconic phrase was the first meme to come out of the show, and most probably – the best one. It has even been turned into a song. Somehow, even after two months of it being over-used, it hasn’t gotten old, and we can’t get enough of it!
And now, the bello has gotten it inked on his skin.

3. Sven’s infamous ‘woman under tree’ painting is now immortalised
A crew member got the ‘woman under tree’ painting tattooed on his skin.
During a painting challenge, Sven drew his now-girlfriend Gaby, under a tree, which ended up being both hilarious, but also him coming out as an arbiter and protector of the island’s trees…
Sven himself has come out saying he’ll be down to get a matching one.
