The Carbon Garden Featuring A Pavilion Designed By Maltese Architect Jonathan Mizzi Opens At London’s Kew Gardens

A brand new Carbon Garden just opened at the world-famous Kew Gardens in London and it features a pavilion designed by none other than Maltese architect Jonathan Mizzi of Mizzi Studio. The garden was designed by Richard Wilford, Garden Design Manager at RBG Kew.
The garden, which had its press launch today, is a permanent project that explores how plants and fungi can help fight climate change.
Built using natural materials and inspired by nature’s own design, like the pitcher plant, the garden captures rainwater to nourish its surrounding rain-fed landscape.
This isn’t the first time Mizzi has worked with Kew Gardens either, he also designed their Family Kitchen restaurant back in 2021.
