The H Hotel, One Of Hugo Chetcuti’s Final Projects, Officially Launched In Paceville
“I’m sure Dad was proud looking down from Heaven”
The H Hotel, one of the major projects entertainment mogul Hugo Chetcuti was working on before his murder, was officially inaugurated in Paceville last weekend.
The boutique hotel comes with 162 guest rooms and suites, which include both modern and classic artworks as well as cutting edge technology and architectural innovations. In a first for Malta, the two most luxury rooms come with their very own private indoor pools.
In an Instagram post, Hugo’s Group CEO and chairman Luke Chetcuti paid tribute to his late father.
“This was a very important day for my family, company and myself,” he said. “I’m sure Dad was proud looking down from Heaven. Thanks to everyone who made this possible.”
Chetcuti said that the direction of the hotel, as well as Hugo’s Group as a whole, is to tap into emerging trends in sustainability, luxury, technology and innovation.
The hotel was inaugurated by Prime Minister Joseph Muscat and Tourism Minister Konrad Mizzi and guests were treated to a performance by renowned singer Ira Losco.
