You’d expect payments by card to have infiltrated all aspects of life by now, but not so in sunny Malta. Let’s face it, it sucks that you have to always carry around at least €10 everywhere you go just in case you run out of petrol along the way.

Having said that, these are some of the service stations that are paving the way forward for the rest of the island to follow. #PlasticIsTheFuture

(the one next to Mount Carmel Hospital, on the way to Rabat)

2. VC Service Station, Għargħur

(the one next to the McDonald’s Drive-Thru)

3. Paul & Rocco, Gżira

(the one right before the promenade, at the foot of Testaferrata Hill)

4. Falzon Service Station, Birkirkara

(the one on Naxxar Road, just opposite Palmyra and that pastizzeria)

5. J.Micallef Service Station, l/o Rabat

(the one between Mosta, Ta’ Qali and Rabat, near Chadwick Lakes)
