If you’re looking to treat your eyes (and sometimes ears) to some art porn over the weekend, or you’re looking for something different to do on date night, Malta’s art scene is what you need.
There are loads of art spaces and galleries all over the island that constantly house cool and fresh works by local and foreign artists. And what’s better is that they’re generally open to the public for free!
Here are some of out favourite art spots on the island.
1. Malta Society of Arts
Republic Street, Valletta
They also host art classes and some pretty cool music and theatre concerts.
2. Spazju Kreattiv
Castille Sqaure, Valletta
Their various halls and galleries are always full of new and exciting exhibitions.
3. Christine X Art Gallery

They display some pretty fine art, and you can purchase it too!
4. Studio 104
St. Lucy Street, Valletta
This little studio is full of quirky and contemporary work by local artists.
5. Valletta Contemporary
East Street, Valletta
One of the newer kids on the art block, loads of exciting artists exhibit their work here.

Another cute little gallery full of art that can be purchased!
St. Lucy Street, Sliema
