In the world of astronomy, August is regarded as meteor month and boasts one of the best and most famous displays of the year, The Perseids.
These meteors never fail to provide an impressive display and are a must-see for astronomy and astronomy enthusiasts alike.
And these next two days are your best chance to get a glimpse of these magnificent showers in Malta.
According to NASA, spectators can expect to see more than 10-15 Perseids per hour during peak period, which is from about 10pm onwards on the night of August 12th.
All you need to catch the show is darkness, somewhere comfortable to sit and a bit of patience.
