Celebrate St Patrick’s Day The Right Way At These Seven Places In Malta
Nobody does a piss up quite like the Irish. Well, until you see the Maltese. St Patrick’s Day in Malta is time for everyone to drink and celebrate Irish style, and if previous years are anything to go by… this is year is going to be equally insane.
It’s not just about wild clubby sweatboxes though; here’s a list of places that are doing something special for St Paddy’s Day tomorrow… apart from the massive Tigullio outdoor day festival that takes over Spinola, of course.
1. Crossroads, St Julian’s
The newly-opened Crossroads are hosting a special open-air brunch party! The menu will include special brunch dishes (being served from 11am-2pm) along with local DJs dropping tunes for the whole day!
2. Hugo’s Pub, St Julian’s
Hugo’s pub will be hosting their popular spraoi this St. Patrick’s Day from noon. Expect tonnes of Guinness on tap, a live performance from The Red Hackled Pipe Band – Malta and DJ Attila Ekis will be on the decks.

3. Carob Tree, St Julian’s
This will be Carob Tree’s very first Paddy’s Day party, so they’re going all out. Their Paddy’s Patio Party features top local DJs from 11am till late and tonnes of offers and promotions from all their kitchen and bars.
They’re also going to be selling reusable non plastic cups at the food court and encouraging people not to use plastic and not to waste. So keep your cup all day long and party the 17th away the right way!
4. Crust, St Julian’s
The good times will roll from 3pm onwards at this beloved bakery’s terrace. Expect a fully-stocked bar and Panelli on the decks from 4pm-7pm.

5. Havana Complex, St Julian’s
Head over to the Havana Complex for loads of surprises on St Patrick’s Day.
Havana Club will have Owen Leuellen as a special guest, Havana 808 Club will be hosted by Wasted and Havana Cuba’s guest of honour is Pixel MT.
Because, at the end of the day, every day or night out in Paceville has to end at Havana.
6. MeLounge, St Julian’s
For this special event, they’ll be offering a free glass of green beer to everybody who come with costumes.
7. The Beer Cave, Valletta
Because St Patrick’s isn’t just about St Julian’s.
TBC will be serving green pitchers, green cocktails & green beers! They’ll also have loads of special discounts and drink offers ad beer pong available all night.
If you wear green, they’ll offer you a free shot if you ask for it.
