Bookworms, mark your calendars, FARAXA FEST is officially on its way, and it’s shaping up to be a literary celebration like no other.

Hosted by Faraxa Publishing, the very first edition of this book-filled bonanza will run from 15th to 18th May at Ibraġġ Parish Church Hall, bringing with it an incredible mix of book sales, author talks, panels, and family-friendly activities.

Whether you’re a diehard reader, aspiring writer, or just someone who loves the smell of a new paperback, this is the place to be.

So, what’s on the schedule?

  • Massive book sale featuring Faraxa’s full catalogue — including literary translations, YA fiction, poetry, children’s books, academic titles, and more, all at heavily discounted prices.
  • Memoir launch by Philip M. Bonello on Thursday evening.
  • A hilarious Trivia Night on Friday hosted by Terence Mirabelli, author of The Truly Useful Book of Useless Information.
  • Saturday brings author seminars in collaboration with Bookmark Editors.
  • And over the weekend, expect panel discussions with local authors and translators, open to the public.

Got kids? FARAXA FEST has you covered. On Saturday and Sunday, little ones can enjoy reading sessions, crafts, and even an imagination workshop with Aunty Sab, giving parents the perfect window to browse in peace.
