Ħal Għaxaq is a small locality in the South of Malta with a population of less than 5,000 people, but it makes up for its size by being one hell of a cool village. 

With a name that might very well be derived from the Maltese word for delight, here's why you need to make your way down to Għaxaq ASAP.

Oh yeah, and it also has one of the strongest contenders for the coolest house in Malta; this beauty from 1901.
