Join Mister Fish For The Puttinu Cares Fishing Festival At The Portomaso Marina
Grab your fishing rods and wellies because it’s time to fish for a good cause!
Local fishing supply franchise, Mister Fish, has teamed up with Portomaso Marina to organise a charity event for the Puttinu Cares Foundation.
Being one of Malta’s leading support systems for children with cancer, Puttinu has seen nationwide support ever since its founding back at the beginning of the century. Their annual Puttinu Marathon raised a whopping €3,177,135 last March, which all goes to families seeking national or international treatment for their children’s medical needs.
With countless organisations and individuals around the island banding together to help support this honourable cause, there’s not a day where there isn’t a fun, active and informative event happening.
Mark your calendars for 17th November because from 7am till 11am and 1pm till 5pm, the Portomaso Marina in St. Julian’s will be providing limited spaces to expert and novice anglers alike for a €10 donation. Local businesses are also urged to sponsor the event, the fees of which will go directly to the Puttinu Foundation.
