Live Nation, World’s Largest Live Entertainment Company, Acquires A Stake In Local Events Company 356 Entertainment

Live Nation has officially entered the Maltese market, acquiring a stake in 356 Entertainment Group, the team behind some of the country’s biggest festivals and the operators of Uno, Malta’s largest club.

The move builds on a strong existing partnership between the two companies, responsible for bringing international acts like Take That and Liam Gallagher to local stages in 2024.

Now, the global entertainment giant is looking to take things even further.

“Malta’s live music scene is experiencing a real boom, and this deal marks an exciting new chapter for Live Nation.  said John Reid, President of Concerts EMEA at Live Nation.

In 2023 alone, 356 Group’s festival season welcomed 56,000 visitors and generated €51.8 million in economic impact.

With Live Nation’s backing, the goal is to bring even more international artists and diverse music experiences to the island.

356 Group called the deal “a huge milestone” that opens new doors for both the local and international scene.

Get ready for even bigger shows, bigger names and bigger vibes as Malta’s music scene is turning up the volume.
