Maltese Dance School To Celebrate 20 Years With Colourful Annual Performance
Local dance school The Dance Workshop is putting on its 20th annual production, and this year it’s a magical journey through the Kingdom of Flowers.
The dance show, taking place at the MCC in Valletta, will follow Tinkerbell, together with her friends Echo, Marigold and Iridessa, as they explore the vibrant and colourful lands brought to life by over 150 dancers on stage.
The show offers choreography from some of Malta’s top names in the dance world, and will be a celebration of the 20th anniversary since Theresa Lungaro Mifsud founded the school back in 1999.
Apart from exhibiting the work of Maltese dance students, this show has a special performance by Italian dance school Atenea Danza, which is run by Stefania Sansavini. It will also reunite Nicola and Keith Micallef, two ex-students of The Dance Workshop who now work with ŻfinMalta.
Taking place this Sunday, April 7th at the MCC, tickets for The Kingdom of Flowers can be purchased from this link
