A 12-hour reading marathon will take place at the Central Public Library in Floriana on 24th April.

The event, which Malta Libraries are organising for Libraries Week 2024, will see several authors, librarians, collaborators and special guests read excerpts of their choice in Maltese from their favourite books, scripts or poems.

Readers will read non-stop for 15 minutes each from 9am till 9pm.

Up to 100 people can apply to join the marathon in the audience and the entire event will be streamed live on Malta Libraries’ Facebook and YouTube pages, as well as on Calypso Radio 101.8FM.
