Raise Your Glass: Delicata’s Wine Festival Is Back In Valletta

The 22nd Delicata Classic Wine Festival is taking over the Upper Barrakka Gardens in Valletta for three nights of wine, food and live music under the stars.
Happening on 8th, 9th and 10th August, this year’s edition promises an even bigger celebration of Maltese wine, culture and summer vibes. Expect over 20 wines from the island’s beloved Delicata Winery, including fan favourites like Dolcino, Casella Moscato, the boutique DOK Malta Medina and DOK Gozo Victoria Heights lines and the sparkling Frizzantes. Yes, the Insta-famous SpritZZers will be making a comeback too.
Live Music Every Night
Each night kicks off at 7pm with live music from top local acts. Friday opens with Lara and the Jukeboys followed by Matthew James. Saturday brings back The Crowns and fan-favourite Kurt Calleja. And on Sunday, after a warm-up by Cash and Band, things wrap up with a big singalong finale: Legends of Pop, featuring Glen Vella, Ludwig Galea, Michela Galea and the Spiteri Lucas Band belting out iconic pop hits.
Gourmet Food and Sweet Treats
Foodies are in for a treat too. Corinthia Caterers and Busy Bee will be serving up Maltese and international dishes from live cooking stations and their dedicated Kannoli Bar.
Wine Tasting Details
Entry is free but for €25 you get a souvenir glass and 24 wine coins to sample the good stuff. The festival runs each night until midnight and is supported by VisitMalta and partner Bolt, who will be offering transport options nearby.
