This week has been jam-packed with events already but there’s no sign of slowing down. We’ve got a breakdown of everything taking place across Malta and Gozo this weekend so you’d better call up your clique and get planning…
Saturday, November 2nd
1. Halloween Massacre XII | The Garage
When there was still no Halloween (basically before 2013) in Malta, these guys were pushing the boundaries in their own way and the tradition still carries forward this month.
2. MAC’s Birthday @ Tower Road | w/Grazielle Camilleri
Three cheers for MAC’s birthday on Saturday, hosted by none other than the glittering gal herself, Grazielle Camilleri. For one day only, in Sliema’s outlet only. Special deals, sweet treats and a meet and greet await…
3. Malta Comic Con 2019
This year, the Malta Comic Con team are going crazy for Tim Perkins’ World’s End with their theme ‘Your Home, Your Place to Shine’. Perkins has been an ever-present guest at Malta Comic Con and they’re super proud to host the launch of World’s End Vol 2: A Hard Reign’s Gonna Fall.
Besides the launch itself, they’ll also be hosting World’s End: The Science Fusion exhibition (showcasing some of Tim’s magnificent World’s End artwork) during both days of the show.
4. Bunker Rave
The Bunker Raves are back this weekend with another instalment of underground sounds from progressive to techno. If you’re a fan of the Berlin clubbing scene then you’ll love this event, no doubt.
5. Jazz in the Afternoon | Palazzo de Piro
What’s better than an afternoon tea accompanied by the blissful sounds of midday jazz? Not much, really. Pallazo de Piro is hosting weekly afternoon teas for you to relax and unwind with and, honestly, after all the scary shit you’ll have seen this past week you’re going to need to sit down for a cuppa and breathe.
6. Pole Possessions | Aria
Pole Possessions is a show that celebrates aerial performing arts, so if you’d like to enjoy something a little different this Halloween, make sure to check out Aria this weekend!
7. Sanya Eco Spa’s Holistic Festival
Tickets include access to pool facilities, free massage tasters, chiropractic assessments and more. Featuring workshops on a number of different subjects such as yoga, meditation, breathing, dance, essential oils, and healthy eating, as well as even featuring yoga for kids classes, the festival is a great introduction to anyone looking to manage their stress.
