The ‘Women For Change’ March Is Ready To Go And It Looks Amazing
The culmination of the International Women’s Day celebrations in Malta is about to go down in Valletta; and you’re still in time to make it!
The Women For Change: March and Celebration is being hosted by Malta’s Women’s Rights Foundation to celebrate 100 years of herstory in Malta.
The event will take a look at women’s social, economic and political achievements in the last century, highlighting special themes such as violence against women, women’s sexuality, women in employment and women in politics.
The event will kick off with a March from the Parliament Building at 2:30pm which will end in St.George`s Square. At 3pm an entire program of events begins.
From talented singers to trailblazing women who fought for equality in the 50s and 60s, this event has something for everyone. Even kids will be amazed with hands-on experiments by female scientists.
The whole event is geared up to be an unmissable experience.
