TOMORROW: Millions Of People Are About To Witness The Beauty Of Gozo Thanks To This Very Special DJ Set

If you’ve ever tuned in to a livestream of an electronic music set with a stunning backdrop, you’ve definitely heard of Cercle before.

Boasting over 500,000 followers on Facebook but constantly getting millions of views on their streams, they’ve had two years of insane Monday night live sets in cathedrals, medieval castles and breathtaking cliff sides. Now, they’re heading somewhere much closer to home.

Cercle are coming to Gozo tomorrow!

That’s right; the Parisian-based, globe-trotting livestream wizards will tomorrow evening (around 6pm) be streaming an electronic set straight from the glorious Tal-Mixta cave in Gozo, one of the island’s most snapped spots.

The legendary livestream platform had some help from Malta’s very own location-hunting party organisers, Blank. The latter have organised parties everywhere, from Valletta’s Fort St. Elmo to Rabat’s Tal-Virtù Palace. Together with the Malta Tourism Authority and with the support of the Nadur Local Council, Blank and Cercle finally chose their final location amidst the Maltese shortlist; the gorgeous Gozitan cave filled with mythological wonder and Instagram filters.

And gracing the sights with some equally stunning sounds, will be French DJ Fakear.

Cercle are definitely not new to gorgeous views, but we’re willing to bet that even they will need to do a double-take as soon as they go down to Għar Mixta. Mixing electronic music with art, architecture and travel, Cercle have been to castles, museums, monuments and natural wonders before, amassing around two millions views per show on Facebook and up to 13 million views per show on YouTube. Pairing some of the most exciting names in the electronic music scene with some of the most beautiful scenery in the world, they’re the epitome of what a utopian party should look like.

And while some of these exclusive parties have large crowds that flock to the beautiful venues, some locations are too precious to have that. And yes, Mixta Cave is one of those locations.

“Will be filming Fakear’s performance for an hour and a half with cameras and a drone and what we are doing with this production is promoting the exceptional location and landscape of Gozo,” Cercle told Lovin Malta. “It’s a performance where people aren’t allowed, because we are also filming the landscape. Having people will not only ruin the show, but also, and most importantly, the natural beauty of this place.”

If you’re feeling like you’ve just had your Monday plans ruined because you can’t go down to Gozo, that’s definitely the wrong sentiment to be feeling right about now. But to help you process all those emotions, we’ve been asked to step in.

Yes, Lovin Malta will be partnering up with Cercle.

We are proud to be collaborating and assisting with Cercle on this amazing initiative, and we’re bringing it all back to you guys.

Apart from the actual livestream in all its 90 minute glory, we will also be giving you an exclusive, behind-the-scenes taste of this special occasion straight from Tal-Mixta!

Tag someone who’d love to tune in tomorrow!
