CineMoon, Malta’s favourite outdoor cinematic experience, will be returning to Valletta tomorrow night.

As always, a short set of live music will set the tone and kick off the weekly event, where picnicking is welcomed, and the gorgeous backdrop competes with the screen for your attention.

This year, CineMoon’s nine screenings will have the running theme: “In Time”. The first film of the summer will be Woody Allen’s 1930’s Los Angeles set romantic comedy Café Society – a perfect opener as the summer-long festival takes place on the steps of Triq San Ġwann, just outside Café Society, the bar. 

After the festival’s launch party, CineMoon will revive their trademark voting process to choose each week’s film. Power to the people!

Attendees are typically given three films related to a common theme to choose between. You can vote on CineMoon’s Facebook page, and the winning film is typically announced the night of its screening. 

For anyone looking to spend a nice, romantic evening out with your significant other, this is it. Cough *It’s free!* Cough, Cough. Pardon…
