Are you a football fan? Do you also enjoy spending your time at the beach knocking around a volleyball? Well I’ve got some great news for you. You can now combine the two and enjoy the amalgamated sport Footvolley all through the summer… and possibly even the winter too.

I’m sure many of us have tried this at school while messing around with our friends, but in case you don’t know, Footvolley is a version of volleyball where players are not allowed to use their hands to knock the ball over the net

Apart from that, it follows all the usual volleyball rules. And it’s now coming to a Maltese beach near you!

These Footvolley events will take place in the beautiful sands of Golden Bay for free every weekend and at the Sprachcaffe every Tuesday for the small fee of €10. However, if you hurriedly change you plans for today (4th June), you could play at the Sprachcaffe for free!
