Celebrate the magic of wind and imagination in one of Gozo’s most stunning open-air locations this weekend.
The Gozo International Wind & Kite Festival will take place on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th October in Għarb, Gozo, turning the skies into a breathtaking canvas of colour, movement, and creativity from 10.00am until sunset each day.
Visitors will be treated to kites of every shape and size soaring through the air, while thrilling windsurfing and kite-surfing displays promise to dazzle the crowds. For those who want a hands-on experience, creative workshops will allow you to design and craft your very own kite masterpiece.
The festival also features live cultural performances, delicious cuisine from around the world, and handcrafted goods by local artisans, ensuring there’s something for everyone, from kite enthusiasts to adrenaline junkies and families looking for a fun day out.
Special highlights include an evening BBQ on 18th October, with tickets available by booking on 99172154, and a synchronised fireworks show followed by Gozo’s largest traditional bonfire on Sunday at 7pm.
