If you’re looking for something different to do this weekend, Valletta Contemporary has you covered.
From Friday 7th to Sunday 9th December, Verbi: mill-bieb ’il ġewwa will be exhibited at Malta’s latest art hot-spot.
The piece is based on a collection of short stories, ‘mill-bieb ’il ġewwa (take a look inside (me))’, written by award-winning Maltese writer Loranne Vella, who is also directing the event.
Verbi is the brain child of Brussels-based Barumbara Collective, a collective of artists from all round Europe, including Loranne Vella and Sephore Gauci. Malta-based photographer Zvezdan Reljić also forms party of the collective. Local dancer Sergio Laferla will also be making an appearance!
Through a blurring and crossing of multiple art forms including photography, installation, dance, theatre, and video; a multidisciplinary and multisensorial experience will take guests on an immersive journey throughout the space.
Tickets can be purchased from the door, or by following this link. However, due to spatial limitations, not many are left so get booking!
